Homo Sapiens Danaus Dromedarius
(DD) have adapted to the extreme climate conditions of our planet physiologically by engaging themselves in an unusual mental symbiosis [1] with two migratory species simultaneously: the monarch butterfly and the desert dromedary.
The also migratory DD are very persistent and extremely serene. If one would look for these qualities in Homo Sapiens Sapiens, they would most likely be found in the early nomads of Mongolia, or Aboriginal Australians.

Anatomical characterisics
DD can go without water for a very long time and they can absorb a lot of water in a very short time without the risk of water intoxication (they can absorb 20 litres in five minutes).

The red blood cells of the DD aren’t round like those of Homo Sapiens Sapiens but oval. This shape allows a better oxygen take up and helps them survive even in the thin atmosphere above 5000 metres. Their body temperature is dynamic; it adapts to the ambient temperature, and can vary from 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.

DD can store enormous amounts of fat in their subdermis. When they have saved their maximum amount of fat, these people appear somewhat rotund, and the surface of their skin is smooth and glassy. When the fat storage is completely used up, their epidermis is deeply furrowed and their complexion becomes dark orange. They then appear very thin and sinewy.

Due to the special shape of the mucous membranes of their noses, they can absorb water vapour from the air they breathe. DD can “feel” the humidity of plant tubers and roots in the dried-up landscapes they wander through. Whether they actually eat these tubers and roots, or only use them as food for thought, we don’t know. 


Cultural Practice
DD have developed the peculiar skill of sleeping while walking, during which the left or right half of the brain rests alternately.[2] They let themselves be led by the rhythm of their heartbeat and seem to synchronize their steps with it. A part of their almost inexhaustible energy is probably derived from this practice.
About their perception of time we know nothing.

They mostly walk in groups of 20-25 individuals. If they are not asleep while walking, they often ask each other inquisitive questions. They understand this particular kind of questioning as “visiting each other”[3], and thereby train their power to imagine various possibilities of being.

Homo Sapiens Danaus Dromedarius have a highly developed sense of rhythm and they have produced great percussionists. Some of their rhythms are as soft as heart flutters.
